In May 2021 EUPLAYY took part in Munich’s Europe May, the City of Munich’s month of events around Europe. Young pianists from the EUPLAYY competition played online for it, chosen so that as many countries as possible were represented: Italy, Ukraine, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Romania, Spain, Cyprus and Germany.
At the end of the Europe May, on 14 June 2021, Munich’s Head of Economic Affairs Clemens Baumgärtner and the Europa-Union München presented the “europeans in art” award to three artists. The award honours artistic work that engages with Europe, its values and its people. EUPLAYY received the award in the music category.

In addition to the great musical skills of all the artists involved, the jury was convinced by the message and charisma behind the action: music connects in many ways.
